CTE Month

February is Career and Technical Educational Month - or CTE Month! This annual campaign strives to bring national awareness to the value and benefits that CTE can offer students.

Here, at the Warwick Area Career & Technical Center, we have so much to be proud of and celebrate!

Join us as we kick-off February with a SkillsUSA "Spirit Week" starting on Monday, February 2, 2026 with a different event each day to recognize and support Career & Technical Education!

Mon., Feb. 2 - "Dress for your Career" -- Show off the industry attire of your chosen career and be proud of your professional future!

Tues., Feb. 3 - "Luau!" -- Chase away the snow and winter blues with some tropical attire today!

Weds., Feb. 4 - "WACTC Spirit Day" -- Dress in the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center colors of blue, black, and white today.

Thurs., Feb. 5 - "Country vs. Country Club" -- Dress as if you're living in the countryside or if you're a member of a country club!

Also, don't miss the "Student of the Quarter" Ceremony at 7 AM in the auditorium. Recognized students and their families are invited to join Mr. Galligan, Mrs. Caluori, administrators, faculty and staff for photos and a "Coffee An' reception" immediately following in the atrium before you start your day.

Fri., Feb. 6 - "Skills USA Day" -- Dress in our country's colors of red, white, and blue today!

Additionally, mark your calendar for these events in the days that follow!

Please note there is no school from Mon., Feb. 16 - Fri., Feb. 20, 2026 for Mid-Winter Recess (also known as February Break). Have a safe, fun, and restful vacation!

Thurs., Feb. 26 - Close out the month by celebrating your individuality and talents with a Toll Gate Talent Show from 7-9 PM! Perform solo or gather your CTE friends for a group performance. Let's display the amazing talents of our student 'professionals' community! Email Mrs. Kane with any questions via email here.
