The Warwick Area Career and Technical Center, and all Warwick Public Schools, are honoring Mr. Jason Almeida, a beloved Warwick Veterans Middle School Physical Education teacher, coach, and alumnus.
All faculty, staff, administrators, and students are invited to join us on Friday, November 14, 2025 by wearing your favorite sports team apparel or Warwick Veterans colors of blue and yellow in exchange for a donation.
Donation money will be used to purchase a bronze plaque to be hung in the Veterans Gymnasium Lobby. There will be a dedication ceremony that follows. The plaque itself costs several thousand dollars. If there are funds remaining after purchasing the plaque, they will be split and donated to the Veterans PE dept for equipment and the 76 Foundation which is an organization dedicated to supporting families battling children's cancers.
