Each year, WACTC welcomes 9th graders from Warwick and the surrounding communities as they visit the career and technical center. The goal – to give students an opportunity to understand all of their educational options available in public schools in the Warwick area.

Ninth graders visit the career center, where they are introduced to careers based on their working styles and general interests. In addition to becoming familiar with the programs offered, Warwick students use this experience to complete the career awareness component of their Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and to introduce them to possibilities for college credits, professional education and personal skill building at WACTC.
